The product is not fireproof, does not extinguish charcoal, and does not guarantee the prevention of fires, burns, injuries, or property damage.

Customers are responsible for using all products according to their intended purposes and following the safety instructions provided.

Product descriptions, images, specifications, and availability may change without prior notice.

If hot charcoal or embers accidentally fall onto the mat, remove them immediately using appropriate heat-resistant tools. Heat resistance varies depending on the temperature, duration of contact, and surface beneath the mat. The mat does not guarantee protection against burns, fires, or property damage.

3. Important Product Safety Warning

WARNING: HOT CHARCOAL AND EMBERS PRESENT A FIRE AND BURN HAZARD.

The Barid™ Heat Protection Mat is not a fire prevention device and must never be relied upon as a substitute for proper fire safety precautions.

For the Barid™ Heat Protection Mat:

• Never intentionally place or leave burning charcoal, embers, or other direct heat sources on the mat.

• If charcoal accidentally falls onto the mat, retrieve it immediately using appropriate heat-resistant tools.

• The recommended maximum retrieval window is 8–10 seconds. This is not a guaranteed safe exposure time.

• Actual heat resistance and damage risk may vary depending on charcoal temperature, surface material, environmental conditions, and other factors.

• Inspect the mat and surrounding surfaces after any contact with hot charcoal or embers.

• Never leave burning charcoal or any active heat source unattended.

• Keep flammable materials away from all heat sources.

• Fully extinguish charcoal after use.

• Discontinue using the mat if it becomes damaged, melted, excessively heated, or otherwise unsafe.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, burns, personal injury, or property damage.

4. Customer Responsibilities and Assumption of Risk

Customers acknowledge that the use of burning charcoal, embers, and other heat sources involves inherent risks.

By purchasing or using the Barid™ Heat Protection Mat, you acknowledge these risks and agree to exercise reasonable care when handling hot materials.

You are responsible for:

• Following all product instructions and warnings.

• Properly supervising burning charcoal and heat sources.

• Keeping combustible materials away from heat sources.

• Using appropriate charcoal-handling tools.

• Inspecting the product and surrounding surfaces for damage.

• Ensuring the product is used only for its intended purpose.

You voluntarily assume the ordinary and inherent risks associated with handling hot charcoal and other heat sources, except to the extent that applicable law places responsibility on BARID™ or another party.

5. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

BARID™ PRODUCTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO PREVENT FIRES, BURNS, INJURIES, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BARID™, its owners, employees, representatives, and affiliates shall not be liable for losses or damages arising from:

• Improper use or misuse of our products.

• Failure to follow product safety instructions.

• Leaving burning charcoal, embers, or direct heat sources unattended.

• Leaving hot charcoal on the mat beyond the recommended retrieval period.

• Negligent handling of charcoal or other heat sources by customers or third parties.

• Use of a damaged product or use for purposes other than those intended.

• Fires, burns, or property damage caused by circumstances for which BARID™ is not legally responsible.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BARID™ shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or limits liability for defective products, personal injury, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other matters where such exclusions or limitations are prohibited by applicable law.

These provisions do not waive any rights or remedies available to consumers under California law or other applicable consumer protection laws.
